Meet Sparky! If you’ve visited ASAP recently, this stately tortoiseshell probably greeted you in our lobby. At just five years of age, this lovely lady has a long life ahead of her and she is ready to spend it with you! Sparky came to us in February of this year. She does not like other cats. Naturally, being in the main room of the shelter with all the other cats made her a bit grumpy. We think this is why she hasn’t met her forever person yet--she just hasn’t been in the mood! Fortunately, our previous lobby cat was adopted last month and we were able to move Sparky to the lobby. Since then, Sparky’s personality has blossomed and she is now one of our friendliest felines. She enjoys spreading out in a sunbeam and chirping cheerfully to you when you pass by. She also likes to flop down at your feet and receive some serious pets. You can’t go wrong with this one, she just wants your love--assuming, of course, that your cat love is exclusive. Sparky needs to go in a home with no other cats. We think a quieter home will be best for Sparky, but we have seen her receive the attention of young children well. Come visit Sparky this week!
