Meet Tye. We would like to introduce Tye is an 18 month old Belgian Malinois from the Netherlands. Officer Jodi Sautter is Tye’s canine handler and trainer. Tye is currently certified in narcotics and will be certified in patrol duties on June 2nd. Tye’s name was not chosen at random. Tye was named after Officer Jason “Tye” Pratt who was killed in the line of duty on September 19, 2003. Like Officer Pratt, Tye has already shown he is a special dog with a love for police work. We welcome Tye and wish him a long and safe career!
