Meet WOD Addictions Newest Sponsored Athlete- My name is Emily (Breeze) Ross; I train and compete at Rising Crossfit Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC. I have been competing at a high level for the past two years. I am 29, engaged, co-founder/owner of Moga Charlotte, and teach mobility in over 10 Crossfit gyms. I started crossfit in June of 2011, and wasn’t completely sold on it at first. It took about a year for me to actually commit to doing quick, heavy workouts. I ran track and played basketball in college at Winthrop University and needed something to fill my competitive void. I was into being fit and skinny with an emphasis on not being too muscular. This makes me laugh now.
