Meet a couple of our newest Gurus: The Frida Kahlo & The Paula Deen. Both were inspired from our Donut Vacation last week - we merged our favorite Los Angeles #MrChurro flavor with a Boston Cream-style. This beautiful Bismark is filled with #MexicanChocolateCream made with #organicdarkchocolate, cinnamon & a dash of cayenne. The Paula Deen is our version of a peach donut we loved at #TheDonutMan in Glendora, CA. We roasted up some Next Generation Organic Farm peaches, pureed half into a pie filling that will sit nicely inside the donut with our Guru made graham cracker pie crumb. The other puree we mixed up with cream into a glaze to coat the donut - garnished with ripe yellow cling peach slices on top. Get them both tomorrow at Guru Headquarters at 816 W. Bannock downstairs in our underground donut shop inside the Garro Building (7:30-11am) - or stop by 11th & Grove at The Boise Farmers Market starting at 9am Saturday morning.
