Meet cast member, Melissa Grace H: Grace is thrilled to be a part of her first Breakthrough Theatre Production! She studied Vocal Performance and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston and was part of a variety of ensembles & choirs including Scenes from the Marriage of Figaro (Susanna) and a Historic Vocal Trio of The Boswell and Andrew Sisters. Some of her favorite moments in her performing career so far has been singing with Eric Whitacre, receiving four years worth of Superior Ratings & Best in Site Awards in Vocal Competitions and playing The Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd) and Fruma Sarah (Fiddler on the Roof.) Grace’s former training also includes Stagecoach Theatre Arts, and The Children’s Theatre Company (working with Randy Weiner & Diane Paulus.) She was proud to have been a part of “The New Generation Project” in Minneapolis (where she is originally from) working with industry professionals such as Pavel Brun, Michael Brennan, Brian Burke, and Ray Leeper and Marty Kudelka. Grace is currently teaching English as a Second Language to a multitude of students from all over the world, doing freelance Princess Parties on weekends, Promo Modeling & performing as much as possible! She would love to become the next Celine Dion! She enjoys recording and writing music (for voice, as well as full orchestra) and is fascinated by film scores and would like to pursue it further someday!
