Meet demands action against child trafficker 21 April 2014:Imphal: A joint meeting of various clubs and local meira paibis of Bishnupur was organised under the aegis of Sports and Library Organisation (SLO) Club in connection with the child trafficking case which happen on April 18 and unanimously resolved to urge the concerned authority to give befitting punishment to Luwangbam Iboyaima, s/o late L Amuningthou of Bishnupur ward no. 9 who was involved in the child trafficking. According to a press release of BLO, Bishnupur, Luwangbam Iboyaima was found to be involved in the child trafficking case of April 18 where the sons of one Moirangthem Nilakamal and Laishram Robishwar of Bishnupur Ward No. 11 reportedly went missing. The meeting minutely discussed on the issue and took various other resolutions which included urging the concerned authority to give befitting punishment to Luwangbam Iboyaima and to outcast him from Bishnupur; to take up appropriate actions against the family members if they are found lobbying to bail out Luwangbam Iboyaima and to urge the concerned authority to hand over the two children who have been trafficked (M Goroba and L Rabi) to their family members at the earliest.
