Meet handsome 1 year old, Boxer mix, Roger! Roger was adopted this weekend at our event, but unfortunately a family member was allergic. So he is back in our care and ready to find his forever home. Roger is a sweet, loving, happy pup. We just melt when he looks up at us with that one blue eye, his heart shaped nose, and ever wagging tail! Roger is deaf, but this only means that his family will need to adjust their method of training. Roger can learn just as well as hearing dogs, he just needs to learn by hand signals rather than verbal commands. Many dogs, even hearing ones, do very well responding to signal commands. So just a little time and patience will help Roger to be the amazing companion we know he can be. Roger is already neutered and so affectionate to anyone that comes around.
