In stockyards,a Judas goat will lead sheep to slaughter,whileits own life is spared.Judas goats are also used to lead other animals to specific pens and onto trucks.The term Judas Goat is derived from a biblical reference to Judas Iscariot [who betrayed Jesus Christ to the Pharisees].
