Meet the breadfruit variety...Puaa! Originally from French Polynesia, this variety has pale-yellow flesh thats solid and dense. It has a firm, yet tender, texture when cooked, and is said to be best when steamed or boiled. Puaa was made available for the public to purchase for the first time by Global Breadfruit, and was one of four varieties we distributed through our Plant a Tree of Life project in 2014.
