Meet the real-life dwarfs... A family resides near Dargah Sada Suhagan Takya, in Gowliguda, Afzalgunj where each family member’s height is not more than 2 to 2.5 feet. They seem to be the creatures of some other world. Despite living in poverty and people make fun of their height the family never reacted narrow-mindedly. The Muslim family is Hyderabadi by birth. The family comprise of 4 members. Father Muhammad Chand Pasha’s (55) height is just 2.5 ft while his wife Salma Begum’s (45) height is 2 ft. Surprisingly no one in the family of either Chand Pasha or Salma Begum has such a short height. Their siblings have a normal height. Chand Pasha does nickel polish through which he earns Rs. 75 per day which is quite insufficient for the family to make both ends meet. He has two daughters who also help him in earning. His daughter Jeelani Begum (23) is working since the age of 8 years. Now she earns Rs. 2000 monthly for dishwashing, sweeping and working under a mechanic. Chand Pasha’s younger daughter Fatima Begum (20) works at home with her mother. Both of them make flower garlands at home. The family lives in a tin-shed roofed room.
