Meet your opposition. Barbara Williams, The person who wrote the latest letter to the editor opposing hunting in Kings Park. Yesterday I sent her a thoughtful letter in order to educate her about archery hunting. She called me this morning. After a short dialogue she concluded that she would do everything in her power to stop archery hunting in Kings Park and that people should hunt out East and not near a property bordering residence. She cited that kids ride there dirt bikes in there at 40mph and could get shot. She cited that somehow a hunter carrying a bow while walking into the woods was a public safety hazard. She also stated she knew governor Cuomo. She advocated for the illegal ATV use stating that she would never stop kids. Well, I guess its fine if she stops kids from hunting. Unfortunately, Barbara, represents the minds we will never change. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and has never been exposed to hunting. Which is why she panicked when she saw a man carrying a bow. in her conversation she demonstrated that she did not know any of the mechanics of hunting and didnt even seem to realize that a hunter would actually have to walk into the woods to hunt there and that walking and hunting are two different things. She also bashed the DEC for placing a hiking trail on a busy road. In any case, this is an anti hunter and a fanatic that has already called the police once because she saw a hunter legally walking into the woods. please boycott her business and ask your friends to as well.
