#MeetRedArrowArtists. Caleb Groh, also known in #Nashville as Groh Artifact, started felting at the age of 16. He was originally inspired by foreign stop motion animations, and finally Michel Gondry. The felt evolved, [he] found endemic techniques, and incorporated a love of the science of the animal kingdom. RA: We know we love your work, what else can you tell us about you? CG: I left my job in September, and after seven years of felting, Im now a full-time sculptor! (How great is that!) RA: Since this a holiday show, what does this time of the year mean to you? CG: Any holiday love comes from my mother. She worked her hardest in December, to make sure that her five children were happy. To this day, Im still trying to convince her to ease up. Groh is busy this time of year, especially with wrapping up Porter Flea and holiday commissions, but will be sending more work our way within the next week. Stay tuned!
