Meeting Minutes The thirty seventh and final 2012-13 meeting of the “Brats” tent was held on June 17th, 2013 at the Eagles Club in Bloomington. We had 40 members in attendance. The meeting was called to order by Grand Sheik, Matt Wise around 5:30pm because we had such a great line up and wanted to get started. Paul Krohg shared his pictures of the famous staircase that was featured in the “Music Box” on Facebook, and a theme for the evening was created. Karl Weilgus suggested that we watch “Isn’t Life Terrible”, starring Charley Chase and “An Ache in Every Stake” with the Three Stooges since the stairway (or one like it) was featured in both films. We also showed “The Music Box”. In between the other three films of the evening, “The Chimp”, “Double Whoopee” and “Perfect Day”, door prizes were given away. Jim and Janet Johnson won the free dinner, Bob Gorski won a mug and Terry Johnson won a brand new Jeep. Other winners were Stan Gunning, who won a mug and Dave Carter, who won a Brats T-shirt. Dave noticed that our new member, Darryl Witte did not have a T-shirt and decided to give it to him. Congratulations to all and what a classy move, Dave! The new season will begin September 16th, 2013 at the Eagle’s Club as usual. It is customary for us to announce that the current officers are willing to continue on for at least one more year, if you will have us. Matt will serve as our Grand Sheik, Sarah and I will continue on as Viziers, Paul and Annette Krohg have agreed to stay on as Vice Sheik and meal coordinator, Karl Weilgus will provide us with sidenotes, Thom Lange will assist with the line up for films and Nathan Wald will be there for set up.
