Meeting Minutes for Oct 4th Attendees: 39 (including 7 board members one absent due to illness) I want to start off by again saying thank you to all who gave up their Saturday evening to come out to Off Road Motor Sports and attend our meeting this evening. I hope you enjoyed a burger or dog got to meet our board members and had most of questions answered! * We do have our webpage up now but it is not finished. We do need to finish up adding pictures to it etc. The site is ckorp.org. We will be adding our PayPal link to it as well as info about the park, new pictures and pictures of the new land and updating it as things progress. * We currently have sold 257 jeep tckets to a goal of 500!! WOOOP WOOOOP!! Thank you Thank you! & a big THANK YOU 2 Jerry White for putting up his Jeep for this donation to support the park! Remember tickets are $5 donation each. You can get with Jerry to purchase them.. Scott Gillispie @ off road motor sports, Wayne Boyles has some, Farm Swampers, or myself if you would like to pick some up! *We discussed the 510c3 issue. We are still waiting to hear back if this is still something that we as as non profit organization are going to need to purchase. We are a legit liscensed nonprofit organization as we speak but we were unsure if we were going to need purchase the 501c3 or not for the tax exempts etc. We are working with David Kilion & another gal ( I apologize I forget her name Shane Fox knows it) to find out for sure if we are going to need to file the 501c3 * Fundraiser @ Off road Motorsports Nov 1st Time is 10a-4p.. Asking all volunteers to be there between 8-9am to help set up and will need a few people to stay and tear down as well. The fundraiser was discussed in large this evening and a smaller meeting with board members was held after the meeting. I will create a sepate post on the fundraiser tomrw discussing what we still need volunteers for and prizes etc so it doesnt get lost in the mix of this post. * Land as previously posted. We have signed a lease for land in Florence KS for 157 acre plot of land and a short video was shown of what this plot of land looks like. Pictures have also been posted to the page for everyone to view. We are needing everyone to come together to get things moving as quickly as possible BC there is a lot to be done. * Insurance; before anyone can step foot on this piece of property we must insure it and that is not going to be cheap. We are hoping to use the funds from the fundraiser and T-shirt sales to purchase the insurance policy we need so we can get things up and running sooner then later. We are looking anywhere from 2-4k down for this policy other wise we will have to go with an agricultural policy to start with that is a lot cheaper and that will only allow us to go out there to do labor and not wheel or play around. * Season passes- they are avail as of today. $50 each. We are only selling 100 total. You can get them from Scott Gillespie @ off road motor sports or jerry white.They are good thru Dec 31 2015 * Adopt a Trail program. We will allow each club or group who is willing to be a part of this program. It is your responsibility as a group to take care of your trail. Maintain it, clean it, change it up. * We started taking orders for t shirts going with the moose and jeep designs. Anyone who ordered tonight their shirt will be avail by the fundraiser. Also planning on having extra avail @ the fundraiser. Shirts are $15 each. Will have blue, black, gray, white, purple, & pink! If u want to pre order get with me so we can get your oder turned in! * If I missed anything just ask and I will get with you thanks again everyone for coming out! Hope to see you again Nov 1st!!!!!
