Meeting at the City Council room B-8 TODAY at 3pm, activists are agitating for the city to add lanes on our streets specifically for bikes and pedestrians, they are bringing in Long Beachs transport coordinator to speak. For those who havent been to Long Beach in awhile they have implemented a terrible idea there, its called Complete Streets the picture below gives you the idea, they re-stripe a lane to make Cars, Bikes and Pedestrians share the same space, it is dangerous to say the least, a very failed idea that we cannot allow in HB. Please come and add your voice the meeting, the City is NOT publicizing this, the same strategy they have employed with the General Plan meetings.
