Meeting day in Ethans program. With L4lifes early intensive behavioural intervention programs part of the success of the therapy is having regular meetings with the therapy team. Today Ethans team met: 4 therapists, his supervisor, Mum and little brother! His current program is run and whatever Ethan is working on (how to play certain games, fine motor practice with games and writing practice so he can be ready for school next year, practice with verbal imitation and communication skills) will be refined. What is working and what is not, is everyone being clear and consistent in therapy? The intensity of a program is not only a matter of how many hours of therapy are done per week but getting together all the team and the work done by the supervisors and parents between sessions too. Today Ethans meeting was filmed and Pedro, one of Ethans therapists and Sarah his Mum were interviewed for a video we are putting together for our 10th Anniversary Ball also for our website and all our communications. Ethan was particularly fascinated by the film equipment, especially the plugs! What a busy day for Ethan and his family!
