Meeting of great minds in Hamburg, Germany and a thumbs up to LIFE. Mr. Franz Alt, a world renowned Journalist, and a personal friend of Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujib since 1970 had met with His Eminence Dalai Lama and Mr. Volker Thomsen (LIFE Chief Advisor) and discussed among others, LIFE and its impact on the coming generation and placement of Bangladesh as a major player in South and South East Asian nations. In addition, Dr. Allen Bode, Ex Secretary General of DAAD felicited LIFE as a robust Program for any Nation seeking World Standards. I am quoting parts of the memorandum that was documented in the files by Mr. Volker Thomsen. The LIFE project will be the foundation upon which the plan for large-scale technology innovation can be build. A properly skilled workforce will ensure that Bangladesh can fully capitalize on this and the growing number of well paid people will generate additional prosperity. Even more important they will be able to secure a production of quality product that can compete on the world market! The key upcoming challenges which are great opportunities for Bangladesh will be listed by government leadership and will be discussed and dealt with in the sequence of priorities including education reform LIFE, technology innovation, technology transfer, clean electricity generation ,recycling, fresh water management with the goal of finding efficient ways of generating electricity as a byproduct of a regulated water shed and even more so in exchange of water levels with the ocean.
