Meeting reminder - this Thursday (13th @ 7am), Sidney Breakfast Club For our last session before the summer recess, we are continuing with featuring the companies and people that were active in our high technology community during the formative years of the Sidney Breakfast Club back starting in 1992 with a focus on: “Where are they now?” The company and speaker featured this month is Seastar Chemicals Inc., Ken Lewis CEO. Prior to 1987, when Seastar Chemicals Inc. was established, its predecessor Seakem Oceanography began producing high purity acids in 1979 to support its oceanographic research. Ken joined Seastar in 2002 as President and CEO after working for a diverse group of companies in Eastern Canada before moving West to join our growing technology community. Ken will present a conversation on: “Maximizing Performance in Niche Markets”. A topic which should be of interest to many of you as the majority of our local companies are striving to lead in their own particular niche markets.
