Meeting the Victims of the fire. Today I had the privilege of driving through Lake Meredith Harbor and visiting with a few of the families that lost their homes in the fire. Everyones story begins the same, we lost everything, but then each story becomes very personnel and unique. One lady told me Ive lost my marbles. :) She collected antique marbles and they are lost. Some sweet soul left a bag of marbles on the property for this woman. Cherished possessions. Another young lady helped save the house across the street from as the fire began Sunday afternoon only to realize later that her own home in Lake Meredith Harbor was completed destroyed by the fire. So many lives changed in a matter of a few hours. Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers. The fire is over, but their journey begins.
