Meeting the soul wanderers today has me thinking back on my wanderer days. Quitting my job, selling everything I had, packing up my Bi-Centennial Vega and heading out with the guy I was in love with. We were going to travel all over America, with no direction just adventure and fun as our goal. I remember the painful names I was called (we werent married) , the broken relationships, the great cost of leaving behind those who meant so much to me who did not understand my passion to pursue life with this man. Traveling the roads, seeing all the beauty, meeting crazy cool people (some not so cool but still crazy). Throwing our sleeping bags on the ground under starry skies. We were searching for the real reason to live - we did not find it. I was willing to sell everything, abandon my family, go against societys standard to pursue a future with a man. Today I asked myself the question what is your lifes pursuit now? What motivates you with passion? My heart cries to love YOU, FATHER, with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, with all my being! And to love others as I love myself It is evident that in this I have not yet arrived but I can say it is my passionate pursuit - and with GOD all things are possible :) HE deserves it all!
