Meg and Jim challenged me to take 15 minutes or less and list the 15 movies that will always stay with me and Im finally getting around to doing it. So these are the first 15 I could think of and yes I know, I have not seen nearly enough classic movies. But this is what Ive got - So, in no particular order: The Lion King - first movie I ever loved The Fox and the Hound - first movie I ever remember crying at The Legend of Bagger Vance - one of the best sports/life movies Ive seen Remember the Titans - who doesnt love a good Denzel film? He Got Game - when Ray Allen became Jesus Shuttleworth and what do you know, more Denzel Shawshank Redemption - just excellent all around One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest - same as Shawkshank, excellent The Land Before Time Series - they were more than just cartoon dinosaurs Blades of Glory - probably my favorite Will Ferrell movie A Few Good Men - three words: Jack Nicholsons monologue The Brady 6, The U, Pony Excess, The Fab 5 (ESPN 30 for 30 films) - because duh, I like sports and historical sports stories Rocky - Philadelphia pride, need I say more? Anchorman - every journalist should aspire to be like Ron Burgandy Pirates of the Caribbean - Hans Zimmers score alone is brilliant Miracle on Ice - because, DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?!? Caitlin, Rachel, Mike, Steph, Bernie, Bill, David, Jen, Vicki, Mary, Shaun, Aizaz - now its your turn. 15 movies, 15 minutes or less.
