Mega Bite: Bite Me Pizza Restaurant Opens New restaurant Bite Me Pizza has just opened its doors in Notting Hill, serving ‘bespoke’ (build-your-own with over 30 good-for-you toppings) and signature pizzas, all of which are available to eat in or takeaway from the eco-friendly eatery, from lunch through til dinner. The dough base here is made on site daily and from a flour mixture that contains Khorasan wheat (known to be easier to digest by gluten allergy sufferers, it contains high protein content and antioxidants). All the ingredients are sourced as locally as possible, cutlery is biodegradable and packaging recyclable. House offerings include the Posh Pizza, the Miss Daisy and the Meatalica, as well as the Dessert Pizza (a novel offering which is filled with Nutella and dusted with icing sugar). A local delivery service is planned in the near future. Bite Me Pizza comes from 22 year-old founder Chris Manessis, who also runs tech start-up Goodwall, a social network encouraging people to do good. This guy knows his mega bytes. And his mega bites.
