Mehbooba grieved over demise of Shah’s father, wife Visits bereaved family to express condolences Srinagar, Dec 28: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti, Sunday visited the residence of Advocate Khursheed Iqbal Shah, a prominent local PDP leader of Drugmulla in Kupwara district, to condole the demise of his wife and father. Advocate Shahs wife and father passed away in a quick succession. His father passed away in the third day of the death of his wife, who was ailing for some time. Mehbooba expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Advocate Shahs father and wife and offered special prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls. The PDP president was accompanied by Abdul Haq Khan, MLA-elect; Naeem Akhtar, Chief Spokesperson; Raja Manzoor Ahmad, MLA-elect; Mohammad Yasir Reshi, District President, Bandipora; Fayaz Ahmad Mir, local party leader; Ghulam Mohammad Mir and Abdul Ahad Shumnagi.
