Melani, 25th June 2013 - Here is Melani beginning to undergo further Veterinary examinations a couple of hours ago at Taman Safari, Jakarta. As you can see she, her demeanor is positive. The situation with Melani is that she was fed chemical laced meat at Surabaya Zoo, although that diet was stopped years ago, the chemical tore her intestines and stomach lining apart and she is unable to consume "normal" food, such as hard large meat etc. Her teeth are in bad condition so she cannot chew up large pieces properly. But this amazing girl has been surviving for the last years at Surabaya on not so good food.....to say the least. Now, she has arrived at Taman Safari she is in the best possible hands, I can tell you that with my hand on my heart as we know them well, and cee4life has worked with them before.
