Melissa Merrick gave me the #13, so here goes nothing. :p 13. My English name is Ruth Helena Robertson-Hopkins, but my real name is Cankudutawin (Red Road Woman). 12. I garden, sew, bead, hunt, cook, and bake. Im also great at scrubbing floors and can chop wood. I was raised old school. Growing up, the worst thing I could ever say is that I was bored. I found something to do or I would be given something to do. Dont get me wrong, I like manicures, pedicures, corsets, heels, dressing up, etc. too- I guess what Im saying is I can get down to business in all manner of speaking. ;) Its called rolling like a Native Winyan in 2013. 11. I have a Type A personality, which means Im super competitive, driven, and a bit of a neat freak. Its not OCD though, I checked. Lol. 10. Once upon a time a girl named Heather driving a Geo Metro ran over my foot. Luckily it was muddy, so my foot sunk into the ground instead of breaking. I had the most awesome purple, green and yellow tire bruise on my foot for weeks after though. Yeah, I showed it off. 9. I still have my childhood comicbook collection. 8. Ive played Russian roulette before. 2 rounds, 3 in the chamber, .38 caliber. Me at 16= not for the faint of heart. 7. Courses Ive taught on the college level: Botany, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Entomology, Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Chemistry I & II, Ornithology, Landscape Ecology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, (all with labs) and Business Law. Nerd alert. Big nerd. Huge. Haha. 6. I like my steak bloody. No salt. I wanna taste the meat. 5. Sometimes I accept favors in-lieu of cash, for my services. 4. I won my 1st Federal District Court case in July. 3. I enjoy running and working out. I do it 1-2 hours everyday except Sundays. I finished my 1st 10K in May and my next goal is a 1/2 marathon. 2. Ive never seen the ocean (accept from a plane), or been overseas. Someone give me a reason to change this. :) 1. I love writing. Almost as much as I love being a Dakota/Lakota woman.
