Melody is an government run facility in my county. Shes been there 606 days. I want her to get a home so badly. I also want to know how it is that THIS government run facility was able to give her 606 days (and counting), but my municipal facility cant give some dogs more than three days. You can talk all you want about the differences between the buildings, the staffing levels, the lack of recognition by the public of the different facilities that serve Cleveland (In case you didnt know, there are three - City of Cleveland Kennel, Cleveland Animal Protective League, Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter). What I want to know is when the City of Cleveland is going to step up for the animals under their care. Im not talking about a new building. Im talking about today. What Mayor Jackson and members of council are you going to do today?
