Member of Parliament for the Paix Bouche constituency, Matthew Walter, has shrugged off United Workers Party (UWP) candidate for that constituency, Eunica Anthony-Victor, saying she will walk the path of political suicide. Walter told privately-owned Kairi FM that the Dominica Labor Party (DLP) has a solid foundation in Paix Bouche and she will be facing a formidable team of laborites. “Eunica Anthony will only follow that path that her predecessors have walked and that is the path of political suicide,” he said. “Because the Paix Bouche laborites are not going to relent and they are not going to lose the record that they have worked hard for so long to attain, that is ensuring that the UWP opposition members will lose their deposit at all times.” DNO
