Members! Tonight we’ll have a pepper tournament at 7:00PM in the 19th hole. We’ll do our best to keep it running so we’ll be done before 10. It’s going to be cold and windy so come up to Elmwood and have a warm fun night of cards with friends! All skill levels and ages are welcome to play. Guests are always welcome at our social events, and this is a great event to bring guests to. Jeff Schneider will be running it. $10 entry fee. Payout: 1st: 50%, 2nd: 30%, 3rd: 20%, Last Place: Jeff will buy you a drink. Rules: 4-card minimum bid, no indications, no dirty clubs. The rotating table format is as follows: (Just like weve played before) You sit down at any table. You play with the person across from you. Each round is 8 hands. If there is a tie, you play an extra round for no points. The winners advance to the next highest table. You have score sheet for yourself. Keep a tally of the points acquired during each round, and a running total of your points. If you win, you and your partner move up to the next highest table. But you arent partners at that table. If you lose you stay at your table and you arent partners with one of the new players at the table. At the end the highest point totals payout.
