Members of Acadian’s executive team were busy in Washington, DC at the 37th Annual ESOP Conference and a Ducks Unlimited dinner. While in Washington, the group meet with several officials to discuss our veteran recruitment and hiring efforts and well as upcoming Medicare legislation. “Our meetings went very well and I believe we made great progress with both the veteran’s initiative and in continuing our work to protect your reimbursement structure under Medicare,” said Acadian CEO & Chairman Richard Zuschlag. Acadian executive vice president and CFO David Kelly is the National Chairman of the ESOP Association and presided over the conference. The featured speaker at the luncheon was John Breaux, a former United States Senator from Louisiana who, while serving in the Senate, played a crucial role in the legislation that allowed Acadian to become an ESOP.
