Members of parliament want more democratic values entrenched in the governance of the country, Western Youth MP Gerald Karuhanga kicked off the debate during a plenary session this morning at parliament. Karuhanga moved a motion recognizing the international day of constitutionalism and democracy that falls today . A number of legislators supported the debate stressing that alot is lacking, they cited police’s harassment of Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi’s supporters over his perceived presidential ambitions.
