Members of the Armidale and University community are advised that there will be a Service of Thanksgiving for Vale Bryan Reginald Pape at St Peter’s Cathedral, Dangar Street, Armidale on Wednesday June 11th at 2pm. VALE BRYAN REGINALD PAPE In 2000, Bryan came to UNE School of Law as a tax lawyer. Understandably, he took up an appointment as a Senior Lecturer teaching taxation law Ø He started on 01 August 2000 Ø He retired on 31 January 2011 Ø For a brief period from July 2010 to November 2010, he stood down to contest the NSW state election Bryan’s academic qualifications were: Ø Bachelor Commerce (Accountancy) UNSW Ø Diploma of Law (NSW Barristers’ Admission Board) Ø Graduate Certificate Higher Education (UNE) Bryan also brought to the School of Law a wealth of experience as a practitioner. This included his years in accountancy, his long experience at the NSW bar, and his experience on the Taxation Board of Review (appointed at age 36).
