Members of the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes continued their efforts at healing tonight at Denvers Sheraton Hotel. Drum beats, singing and dancing filled the grand ballroom. The color guard was there, too. It was a treat for me. The last time I attended a Pow Wow was almost 40 years ago on the Navajo Reservation. The Cheyenne and Arapaho beautifully honored the fallen at Sand Creek. Yes, it was healing in progress. Many joined the dancers on the floor.
