Members of the Harbor Hemp Community ventured out to the first retail marijuana store to open in Grays Harbor County. 3M’s located in Porter (the old Porter Store), on State Route 12, has opened up and is receiving customers. Flower is currently available in 1 gram and 3.5-gram jars. The store is featuring a few strains from a local grower under the name of Hank’s Dank. A few members of HHC reported back that they tried Blue Magoo (got a gram) and wanted to share their experience. This is what they had to say: We just wanted to see what the local area may have to offer in the way of retail markets, so we took a ride out to Porter and found 3M’s. Nice and clean, low ceilings but a nice open shop. The staff is very considerate and are willing to speak on the subject of I-502, or just provide one of their strains currently in the store. We tried one of Hank’s Dank called Blue Magoo, we just got a gram but stayed and chatted for a bit with Joshua and Mindy. Real nice couple and with what they had to go through just getting open, are very happy to finally be open. We are too. Blue Magoo has a nice piney smell, and one of us also detected a slight hint of berry. (Might have been the jelly jars they where packaged in.) – No not really, but it is a nice jar. Which by the way is told to be recyclable back through the store. Bring it back clean with no residue, and they send it back to get filled up. So they are not charging extra for the style of packaging. Oh yeah, cost - $20.63 plus tax. (Thanks Washington). The gram that we got had labels enough all around the jar – almost could not see the contents. (Thanks Washington). But the wait for this herb was worth it we think. And understanding the taxing to the product, the price was good too. The Magoo smoked well too – not harsh and gave you an initial tingle on exhale, but give it about 10-15 minutes and you really start to feel it. You arrive on a nice plane, not a crazy place, but energized, alerted. The strain is said to be an Indicia dominant hybrid it runs smooth. This would be nice on the back porch, sipping it out a jay. But it also delivers well with Dr. Who and a glass water pipe. Gotta say kudos’ to Hank and his Dank Blue Magoo, with an extra applause for 3M being able to deliver it to the public. 3M has a few more of Hank’s Dank, and said they will be moving to edibles soon. They are definitely worth the drive. Go check ‘em out. Friends of the Harbor Hemp Community
