Members of the Massapequa Kiwanis Club met last night to bring awareness to the ALS cause. Better known as Lou Gehrigs Disease, this degenerative disease has recently had the national spotlight hoisted upon its shoulders. Since the inception of the Ice Bucket Challenge, millions more in donation dollars have been received by the foundation. The results have been staggering. Careful not to stop here, Phil Tesoriero throws down the gauntlet by challenging the Seaford, Merrick and East Meadow Kiwanis Clubs. Thank you to all of those who donated their time and sacrificed their vanity for a great cause.
