Members of the family of O. Eugene Smith and Mary Scott Smith (Elaine Strader, Annagrace Cornell, Paula Lichiello) were pleased to present a grant to Holli Vaughan, kindergarten teacher at Smithville Elementary School in Ritchie County to purchase materials for students use in supporting math and science learning. The Smith familys fund is a part of our Ritchie County Community Foundation affiliates family of funds. Today Our Communitys Foundation announced its spring grant awards totaling more than $203,555 from its spring Community Action Grants program, representing awards from Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and its Jackson County and Ritchie County Community Foundation affiliates, as well as the Gordon and Mildred Jackson Advised Fund of the Mason County affiliate, in addition to other donor advised grants.
