Memorabilia/Vintage Post: (Last one for tonight) We called them chifferobes. Years ago, we did not have much closet space so we had these nice upright clothes closets in some of the rooms. They were very nice and now they are consider antique. I sure wish we had the one we had when we got married in 1964. It was a hand me down from the family. We used it until it started falling apart. The drawers would not shut tightly anymore and started jamming. I think we just got rid of it. Our Chifferobe was a dark wood and we loved it. How may of you used Chifferobes to store clothes in back in the day?
