Memorial Day- a day in which those who died in active military service are remembered. As of 2012, 44% LGBT identify as Democrat. In 2012, Democrats voted 54-46 to keep pension cuts for vets instead of cutting welfare payments for illegal aliens. In 2013, 164 Democrats Vote Against Funding Veterans Benefits HJ. Res. 72, continuing Veterans benefits in to 2014. In 2014, the senate failed to pass bill, Department of Veterans Affairs Management Accountability Act of 2014.
