Memory 16 of 20... Warhorse. A 2005 Mustang GT, Premium, Satin Silver. I bought her just before leaving for Iraq. I came home to a beast. Custom doors, body, one off rims, NOS, custom interior w/ red leather and red carbon fiber, push button start, EVERY light and marker blacked out, engine mods and the license plate SGTDEKR. Everything. This is how my wife copped. She had this car built for me. She evn got her hands dirty and helped build the custom lambo doors. How many wives could pull this off? Her heart went into this. I came home to the best gift ever. For a few months, we enjoyed it. Entered cruises, car shows (and won), and just showed it off on base. But then it started to remind me of everyone who did not come home. I got rid of Warhorse after only a few months of 20% of what we invested. Now, I regret it. I feel like Ii sold a piece of my wife. A piece of her soul and who she is. A piece of that kind woman (girl), I met 10-years earlier. Forgive me my wife. And continue to love me for all my flaws!
