Men and Women are EQUAL in the Lords plan and Kingdom, but we are not the SAME. We as women, Daughters of a loving Heavenly Father, have a very sacred role of bearing and nurturing children and families. That is our responsibility. That is not a burden or a curse. It is a sacred gift. And, while we have access to EVERY SINGLE blessing to be received through the priesthood, that priesthood is not our responsibility. Just as the Lord reserved the right of bearing and nurturing children to His beloved Daughters, He provided His priesthood to be held by His sons as a means to protect us precious Daughters and our families and to bring salvation and truth to all the world (which we as women can also assist in). And, just as we Daughters cannot bear children without men, they cannot access all the blessings and power of the priesthood without us (remember what we are taught in the temple here). Men and women are to work together in their separate roles to achieve Eternal Life. That is our ultimate goal. This is my testimony and my understanding. I love this Gospel that our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ restored just the way it is!!! My husband is a faithful priesthood holder and watches over our family with nothing but love and compassion. At church, I have the opportunity to teach the doctrine the Lord has established, thus opening my understanding of his plan even more as I receive guidance from His Holy Spirit. We are NOT oppressed in His plan. The World and Satan would have us believe we are, because if he can tear down and divide the Women in the Lords Church, he has reached and destroyed the center of the family and without the family, the Plan of Happiness is impossible to achieve. Please, Sisters! Listen to your Heavenly Father! Go to HIM. Not a woman who has clearly forgotten what she once knew to be true. This is the Lords church. Not Thomas S. Monsons. President Monson is here for us today as the Lords mouth piece. He does not have the authority to grant women the Priesthood because that is a doctrine the Lord has established from the beginning of time. We are not to tempt the Lord!
