Men and Women are not the first Spirit People; Our ancestors are not the first Spirit People; The ancestors of our ancestors are not the first; Even those beings who made the first man and woman, They are not the first Spirit People. We call the first Spirit People the people of the Light. We call the first Spirit People, the Light Beings. They travel wherever there is light, They travel with the light of the Moon; They travel with the light from the Stars; They travel with the light from the Sun. From galaxy to galaxy they travel; From star to star they travel; From planet to planet they come. Always looking, always sensing Spirit. When it is time for the Spirit of a people to grow, They come and teach us and guide us. When it is time for the Spirit of a people to be tested, They come and help us if we sense and see. The Light Beings are the wisest of Spirits; The Light Beings are the oldest of spirits of People. Many, many times ago, the Light People had bodies, Like our ancestors and men and women today. Many, many times ago, the Light People were very wise and peaceful, Yet they wished to know more of the wisdom of the Dreaming; They wished to overcome the cycle of life and death; They wanted the knowledge of the Great Spirit of the Universe; The Light Beings sought a way to be both the Dream and the Dreamer; They found a way to be within the dream of the universe, And through the dream as spirit. That is why they became beings of pure light.
