Men need to be Men: This morning I was in Starbucks ordering a large cup of brewed coffee. No frappe crappie foo-foo caramel latte ca ca thing. But a man drink. Coffee, black. I remarked to myself when the androgynous fella in back of me ordered a foo-foo drink. Then it happened. The most gorgeous senior lady Ive ever seen walks in and she all but floats to the line. Her hair was nearly all grey, naturally cut short; perfectly surrounding her flawless dark brown skin. Easily in her seventies, her beautiful curves lied telling me that she must be younger. I was almost ashamed at the thought shes arousing me! But something more significant was happening.....this woman carries the beauty of her heart and soul with her where ever she goes. I offered and she accepted me paying for her foo-foo drink. Before she left I told her, You are absolutely beautiful. She smiled and said, Thank you for being a man....and kind. I miss the days of men just being men. Be Manish. Men...embrace being men. Not because women complain about our shortcomings, but inspite of it. Love and raise your kids....kick their narrow asses if necessary. Dont pick just any woman; pick the right one that with stand with you, beside you, and behind you. Speak up. Lead your homes. Know God for yourself. Fight your battles, take no prisoners, and be unafraid. Were men. Act like it.
