Mental Health: 7 Anger Management Tips: Anger is considered a normal, healthy, human emotion, which express to time most of our time. However, when it gets out of hand and everything is destructive, it can cause big problems at work and in your personal relationships. Anger can also affect the quality of your life as it completely swallows you and a helpless victim by unpredictable and powerful emotion. 1. Take a deep breath: If something bothers you, take a deep breath. Breathing deeply transmits a sigh to the vagus nerve (10th cranial nerve in the brain), so your body receives a message let the muscles relax. This process is effective if you breathe deeply a few times. You can try to count to 10. 2. Talk positively to yourself; say positive things to yourself like, Its okay or I get angry for no reason. Tell yourself that no problem is bigger than you and can’t be handled. Leave the problem behind you and move on with your life. Positive thinking will appease you in times of crisis. 3. Music: One of the best ways to keep anger under control is turning on your favorite music. By listening to music, your mind will be distracted from unpleasant situations and you will be energized. 4. Physical activity: Physical activity can be an outlet for your emotions mean , especially if you can’t control your anger . Physical activities like exercises, walking, jogging or practicing your favorite sports, will give you a good feeling. 5. Recognize the objective: Realize that getting angry and letting that anger completely swallow you, can have serious consequences. It may cause a gap between you and your loved ones, your colleagues and friends. Remember that you can choose to discuss the problem in a calm and relaxed, quiet way. 6. Meditation: The reality is that many people suppress their anger to avoid being confronted with it. Instead of doing so, try to meditate, as this can have a negative impact on your health. Meditating has a long-term impact and is calming for mind and soul. It also allows you to deal with your emotions in a constructive manner, at least, if you meditate every day. 7. Forgiveness: You will experience inner peace if you let go of the pain in the past and sincerely forgive yourself and those who caused the pain.
