Mentally & emotionally drained... After waiting all day, we finally found out the infection is not in his port! Praise God! He has a type of strep... So the infection is still in his blood stream, but he doesnt have to go to Lex now to have the port removed! Yay for this... Hes still looking at a few days in the hospital on iv antibiotics & not sure if this little set back will push his chemo back some. We will find out more Monday! So thankful for his oncologist at Markey, Dr. Thornberry, Dr. Travis & all the prayers, texts, calls & visits! Were blessed & will continue fighting on this journey!
