Mera Peak Expedition Sep 26th to Oct 20th 2014. People joining the Mera Peak Expedition (Nepal’s highest trekking peak)will get an opportunity to experience what are considered to be the best views of Everest and many of the 8000+meter peaks in the Himalayas. To reach Mera Peak 6476meters we stay clear of the overcrowded route to Everest base camp, with its fake Starbucks and internet cafes, instead we hike along the beautiful and remote Hinku valley, which is like the Everest route was about 30 years ago before the mass influx of charity hikers.
