Those poor animals are terrified. If you can treat a living, breathing soul in this fashion for fun, you need serious help. How can they laugh and cheer through the screams of a helpless animal? Why dont they just wrestle each other for fun? Why does entertainment always include the torture of animals? I totaly agree with Sarah Withrow King, PETA Director of Christian Outreach and Engagement. who said : The conduct in your parishs name last Sunday showed none of the respect or gentleness toward these pigs that the Church teaches that we owe them, and surely the parish can find other ways to raise funds than by subjecting animals to such a spectacle of needless suffering, said I ask you to hold everyone involved accountable for this travesty.
