Merciful Father, thank You for every blessing You send my way. Always help me to have a heart of gratitude. I lift You up and praise You for Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. He was your perfect sacrifice Who takes away the sins of the world. Certainly Lord Jesus You are worthy to receive all praise, glory and love every day of our lives. Lord Jesus, because of You I can commune and fellowship with God The Father and have His presence and power operating in my life. It is important that I draw near to You. Father, it is Jesus Christ Who has made me acceptable to You. I understand to draw near to You I must have a true heart. This means a heart that is genuine, sincere, honest, meaningful, and without hypocrisy. I ask You to help me not to get so wrapped up in the world that I forget to draw near to You. To draw near to You I must have full assurance of faith. This means unqualified assurance in Christ, that He is the One Person who can and does give me access into Your presence—that Christ and Christ alone makes me acceptable to You. To draw near to You, my heart and body need to be cleansed and washed, cleansed of sin and its guilt—cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank You for that cleansing. I pray for those wrestling with fear and guilt in their lives. I pray they will deal with this issue through the cleansing and forgiving power of Jesus Christ.
