Mercy Johnson base will be doing a alallotmentment to get children off the street. We are not requiring people for cash or donation, I will do all I can with the resources God has given me, and with the support of my husband to help get these children off the street and set them on the route where they can start to chase their aspirations. I desire to beg with persons, followers, friends and colleagues to give thought a replacement for the young kids on the road. We can begin by teaching persons round us, parents, the young kids and persons in ascribe of young kids (Oga-house help connection, teacher-student connection, and other ones) on the need to treat every progeny like the future of Nigeria depends on it. And reality be told, our future will not be all that delightful if we let the scourge of ‘street-children’ fester. By then, the wealthy will start to bawl. I learnt Lagos State Government has 11 homes where most young kids picked from the streets are kept, reformed and reunited with their families after therapy . That is a start, Mency Johnson Foundation will be carrying and beyond that we will be going to distinct states to help disperse the message-Get children off the road, save the future. From tomorrow, I will begin to replay some of the courses I discovered at the boys’ restructure home and we all can assist to getting the children off the road.
