Merri Community Health Services spokeswoman Viviana Rosas confirmed the waiting list for public dental treatment in Moreland was 18 months, but children would be given an appointment within a week. Other groups are given priority access, including the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers, people aged over older than 80 and pregnant women. Priority is also given to people whose needs are deemed to be urgent, requiring a prompt response or needing follow-up.
