Merry Christmas! I wanted to share a letter explaining how thankful I am for all of you! My first year as a small business owner of Rockton’s Sanctuary Spa has taught me so much, and I could not have done it without the support of my friends, family, fellow business owners, and the community. There are three ingredients that have lent themselves to the success of Sanctuary Spa. The first element of success is your main circle of support. I have learned that I would not be where I am today without my Faith, and great people believing in me, including Marc Smith, and Marlow and Cheri Smith. The second major ingredient of Sanctuary Spa’s success in its first year is the number of professionals and businesses that took a chance on me and my vision. Without the support of Todd Isaacs and Stenstroms, we would not have been able to flourish in our amazing location. They shared the passion of my heart and the vision of the spa, and we now find ourselves in an amazing location in the heart of the community. The third incredible ingredient in Sanctuary Spa’s first year is our great community. I have learned that the Community of Rockton is the best place to grow a business and family. I knew that this business would be rewarding but never dreamed it would be what it is. It is a place where the lost are found. It is a place where strangers become friends. Helping others became the foundation of Sanctuary Spa, and we will continue to serve our community in the years to come based on this foundation. Being a small business owner means working it every hour of the day. But with passion and drive is it really work? No! I have learned you get what you give, and as a member of this community, business owner or not, I will love people and always support and inspire others to do great things. So as 2014 wraps up I wanted to write this letter to everyone that has made this year in business for Sanctuary Spa happen! To the Ladies I work with, Thank you for believing in this vision and making it come to life, together we make this place amazing!
