Merry Christmas and congratulations to constitutional defense attorney Alex Kim. He is the champion of our 2015 Political Fantasy Football League after defeating Arlington City Councilman Robert Rivera, catching up as an underdog in the closing minutes of this weeks Monday Night Football game 132-124 The other major focus of our league was on who would finish in last place. To keep the competitive heat turned up, we had a #tattoo clause for the last place finisher, which turned out to be the team of Medical Director of Emergency Services for the Brazosport Regional Health System, Dr. Adam Corley and the North Regional Vice Chair of the Texas Federation of College Republicans, Nathan Bassetto. We also had a tattoo buyout clause in which the last place finisher would make donation to the charity of the league winners choice. In lieu of the receiving a tattoo, Dr. Corley is donating #SouthwestAirlines tickets to Texas country music artist,Gary Kyles, the Texas Strong Foundation. These donated airline tickets will be used to allow a North Texas soldier on deployment, the ability to return home for the birth of his child and return back to his unit at no expense to the soldier. Currently, the military does not cover these travel expenses for deployed soldiers. In addition, Gary Kyle will also be donating a private concert for Dr. Corley and friends to celebrate the homecoming for a North Texas soldier returning from deployment. Matt Foster Preparations are already underway for next years political fantasy football league which is scheduled to include Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Texas Lt Gov Dan Patrick, additional country music artists, and other elected officials.
